5 Minute Chocolate Truffles
To make them, put a 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl. Add in three tablespoons of milk (you can use regular milk or canned coconut milk) and a tiny pinch of salt. Heat in the microwave for 50 seconds, then remove and stir. Keep heating the bowl in 10 second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate has completely melted. It’s important to use the short bursts as the chocolate will quickly burn if you leave it in the microwave too long. Place the mix in the freezer for around 40 minutes, or until it gets hard enough that you can scoop it out into little truffle-shaped balls. Spread the truffles out onto a tray and keep in the freezer until you’re ready to serve them. To make them look really pretty, dust in cocoa powder for a nice finishing touch.
