Vegan (Un)friendly

This little act of dishonesty ended up costing the corporation millions of dollars. $10 million to be exact. When the chain announced that they would be frying their fries in vegetable oil, most of their customers thought that meant vegan and vegetarian friendly fast food.
They were wrong. McDonald’s conveniently left out that they were still using beed tallow to flavor their fries, and they had to issue a public apology.
